For all your shipment we recommend you use FedEx Express as Courier Company. Shipping with any other company or by FedEx Ground will bring extra cost such as Custom Broker Fees, Administration Fees, Duties and Taxes.
Any brokerage and/or administration fees associated with the equipment being sent in for repairs or servicing will remain the responsibility of the customer and will be charged back to the customer. Such fees can be avoided when shipping with FedEx Express.
- PhotonCom reserves the right to refuse any inbound shipment that arrives Collect or without our Shipping Reference Number
Shipping instructions for servicing your equipment:
- Contact our Customer Assistance department for a Shipping Reference Number which will have to be shown on thewaybill and on the commercial invoice.
- Contact our shipping department for assistance on packaging and shipping options.
- Select a courier or a freight company such as FedEx Express. Any other courier or freight company will bring you Custom Brokerage fees (from 125.00$)
- On the waybill make sure the Transportation Charges are on your account.
- On the waybill make sure to write down the Shipping Reference Number we have provided you with.
- Contact our shipping department for assistance in the preparation of the waybill.
- Prepare a commercial invoice and make sure the below information is to be found.
Commercial Invoice:
- Our Shipping Reference Number
- Reason of importation to Canada: equipment being sent to Canada for repair. It will be returned back to USA after being serviced.
- Brand or Manufacturer name of the equipment.
- Description of the equipment.
- Model Number of the equipment.
- Serial Number of the equipment.
- Country of origin of the equipment.
- HS Classification Number. Most of the time this number is 9030.40.
- Value of the equipment for Customs purpose.
- Sign and date your Waybill and your three copies of your Commercial Invoice,
- Put the Waybill and the Commercial Invoices on the box,
- Ship to the following address:

Shipping instructions for equipment under warranty:
- Contact by phone or by email our Customer Service Department as soon as possible.We will need the Invoice Number, the Model Number and the Serial Number of the equipment.
- Provide us with as much as technical data as possible describing your problem. We will try to fix the problem without having you to ship it back.
- If the problem cannot be resolved this way, we will provide you with an RMA Number.
- Contact our shipping department for assistance on packaging and shipping options.
- Prepare your FedEx Express Waybill. Please Note: PhotonCom reserves the right to refuse any inbound shipment that arrives via another Company than FedEx Express.
- On the waybill in section << Bill Transportation changes to >> check box Sender.
- On the waybill in section << Bill Customs Charges to >> check box Receiver.
- Contact our shipping department for assistance in the preparation of the FedEx Express Waybill.
- Prepare a commercial invoice and make sure the below information is to be found.
Commercial Invoice:
- Our RMA Number
