Agilent 86120B Error 14 Data acquisition problem

A wavelength meter 86120B shows Error 14 if it cannot detect the internal HeNe Laser during self-test. It is caused by the aging of the HeNe laser in the 86120B. Despite the fact you may be able to get the equipment back up and running, it is just a matter of time before the laser dies.

Have your unit sent to PhotonCom Lab for a laser replacement and a full evaluation. After repair, your 86120B will be returned back to you fully calibrated with a complete calibration report.
